This is the display signal from the video terminal to the display and navigation module display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY - VIDEO TERMINAL)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the H5 display and navigation module display connector.

   2. Disconnect the T1 video (video adapter) terminal connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition H5-8 (ADPG) - T1-8 (ADPG) Always Below 1 Ω H5-2 (VV+) - T1-5 (VV+) Always Below 1 Ω H5-6 (VV-) - T1-6 (VV-) Always Below 1 Ω H5-8 (ADPG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher H5-2 (VV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher H5-6 (VV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher H5-5 (SG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

   REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

   OK

2. CHECK VIDEO (VIDEO ADAPTER) TERMINAL

      Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions as shown in the table below.
