This circuit sends a display signal from the television display assembly to the display and navigation module display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY - TELEVISION DISPLAY)


    1. Disconnect the H3 display and navigation module display connector.

    2. Disconnect the W14 television display assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H3-4 (NTSO) - W14-23 (NTSC) Always Below 1 Ω
      H3-14 (SGND) - W14-22 (SGN1) Always Below 1 Ω
      H3-14 (SGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H3-4 (NTSO) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H3-15 (SLD2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  2. CHECK TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY (NTSC SIGNAL)

      Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions as shown in the table below.
