  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      1. Disconnect the H29 radio receiver assembly connector.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        H29-7 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Voltage
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        H29-4 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
        H29-3 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V

      1. Disconnect the H38 radio receiver assembly connector.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        H38-20 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Voltage
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        H38-1 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
        H38-11 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
