VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM (for Vacuum Brake Booster) VSC Buzzer Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via CAN communication.

The combination meter has a built-in buzzer. The buzzer sounds during VSC operation.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE


    1. Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output (for LHD without Entry and Start System: Click here, for RHD without Entry and Start System: Click here.

  2. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (BUZZER)


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List.

      ON: Buzzer on

      OFF: Buzzer off

      		 The combination meter has a built-in buzzer.

    6. When performing the Buzzer Active Test, check Buzzer in the Data List Click here.
