CLUTCH PEDAL (for RHD) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS BUSH

    *1 MP grease

    1. Apply MP grease to the inside of a new clevis bush.

    2. Install the clevis bush to the clutch pedal.

      Tech Tips

      Install the clevis bush from the left side of the vehicle.

  2. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL TURNOVER BUSH

    *1 MP grease

    1. Apply MP grease to the clutch pedal turnover bush.

    2. Install the turnover bush to the clutch pedal.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION


    1. Install the 3 cushions to the clutch pedal.

  4. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

    *1 MP grease

    1. Apply MP grease to the shaft collar.

    2. Install the shaft collar to the clutch pedal.

  5. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL BUSH

    1. Apply MP grease to 2 new bushes.

    2. Install the 2 bushes to the clutch pedal.

  6. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL PAD

  7. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL STOPPER BOLT (w/o Cruise Control System)


    1. Install the stopper bolt and temporarily install the lock nut.

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the lock nut to the specified torque when adjusting the clutch pedal.

  8. INSTALL CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Cruise Control System)


    1. Install the clutch switch and temporarily install the lock nut.

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the lock nut to the specified torque when adjusting the clutch pedal.

  9. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING HOLDER

    *1 MP grease

    1. Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the spring holder.

    2. Install the spring holder.

  10. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch pedal and washer to the clutch pedal support with the nut and bolt.

      Torque:
      34 N*m  { 350 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Install the bolt from the left side of the vehicle.

  11. INSTALL TURN OVER SPRING SEAT COMPRESSION SPRING


    1. Install the compression spring to the clutch pedal and spring holder.

  12. INSTALL CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. for LHD:


      1. Install the clutch start switch assembly with the nut.

        Torque:
        16 N*m  { 160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }

      2. Connect the clutch start switch connector.

    2. for RHD:


      1. Install the clutch start switch assembly with the nut.

        Torque:
        16 N*m  { 160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }

      2. Connect the clutch start switch connector and attach the clamp.

  13. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch pedal with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  14. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch master cylinder Click here.

  15. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag Click here.
