ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for Front Side) REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note


    • After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work. Click here

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ORNAMENT (for LHD)

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Put protective tape around the instrument cluster finish panel ornament.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 3 clips and remove the instrument cluster finish panel ornament.

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE GARNISH (for RHD)

    1. Detach the 4 clips.

    2. Disconnect each connector and remove the instrument panel finish plate garnish.

  4. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 4 clips.

    2. Disconnect each connector and remove the instrument panel finish panel.

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 4 claws, 2 clips and 2 guides and remove the instrument cluster finish panel.

  6. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the combination meter.

  7. REMOVE COOLER THERMISTOR (ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR)

    1. Disconnect the connector and hose.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the cooler thermistor.
