COMPRESSOR (for 2TR-FE) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE COOLER BRACKET

      Detach the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the screw and cooler bracket.

  2. REMOVE MAGNET CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Clamp the cooler compressor in a vise.

    2. Using SST, hold the magnet clutch hub.

    3. Remove the bolt, magnet clutch hub and magnet clutch washer.

      Tech Tips

      There is no set number of magnet clutch washers since they are used for adjusting.

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and magnet clutch rotor.

      Note

      Do not damage the seal cover of the bearing when removing the snap ring.

    5. Detach the connector clamp.

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and magnet clutch stator.
