WASHER MOTOR (for Front Side) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. Remove the radiator grille Click here.

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts labeled A and 2 bolts labeled B.

    3. Remove the 6 screws and 6 clips.

    4. Detach the 12 claws.

    5. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    6. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Fog Light:

      Disconnect the connector.

    7. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    8. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.

    9. Remove the front bumper cover.

  3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD RH

      Remove the 2 clips and 4 screws.

  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the 2 screws from the front fender splash shield sub-assembly.

    2. A009A2V

      Detach the 13 grommets and remove the front fender splash shield sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips

      The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.

  6. DRAIN WASHER FLUID


    1. A0094JK

      Disconnect the washer hose from the hose of the windshield washer motor and pump assembly, and then drain the washer fluid.

  7. REMOVE WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0098XT

      Detach the claw and remove the washer inlet sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY


    1. A0097FW

      w/o Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A009AEM

      w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    3. A009B40

      Remove the 3 screws.

    4. A00956E

      Detach the guide and remove the washer jar.

  9. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. A009AUC

      Remove the washer motor and pump from the packing of the washer jar.
