RELAY (w/ Rear Wiper) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note


    • After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work. Click here

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE WASHER RR RELAY

    *1 Washer RR Relay

    1. Remove the washer RR relay from the engine room relay block.

  3. INSPECT WASHER RR RELAY

    A00JUMHE01

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
      Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

      • If the result is not as specified, replace the washer RR relay.

  4. INSTALL WASHER RR RELAY


    1. Install the washer RR relay to the engine room relay block.

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
