LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the license plate light assembly.

  3. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT PACKING

    1. Remove the license plate light packing.

      Note

      Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new license plate light packing to prevent water ingress.

  4. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT LENS

    1. Insert a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape into the license plate light lens hole, tilt it in the direction shown in the illustration and disengage the 2 claws to remove the license plate light lens.

  5. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BULB

    1. Remove the license plate light bulb.
