FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for SIA Made Power Seat) DISASSEMBLY

  1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

    1. Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  2. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  3. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  4. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

    1. Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the clip from the front No. 1 seat inner cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the 3 claws and 3 guides to remove the front No. 1 seat inner cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

    4. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

    1. Disengage the 4 claws, 7 guides and clip to remove the front seat cushion shield.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and open the wire harness cover.

    3. Remove the wire harness from the wire harness cover.

    4. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

    5. Disconnect the front power seat switch connector.

    6. Disconnect the front lumbar power seat switch connector.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disengage the 4 claws, 8 guides and clip to remove the front seat cushion shield.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws and open the wire harness cover.

    3. Remove the wire harness from the wire harness cover.

    4. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

    5. Disconnect the front power seat switch connector.

  8. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH

    1. Remove the 3 screws and front power seat switch from the front seat cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE FRONT LUMBAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (for Driver Side)

    1. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front lumbar power seat switch from the front seat cushion shield.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

    1. Disengage the 5 claws and 6 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disengage the 5 claws and 7 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

    1. for TMMK Made:

      1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.

    2. for SIA Made:

      1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. for TMMK Made:

      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the screw and disconnect the limit switch.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

    2. for SIA Made:

      1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      2. Remove the screw and disconnect the limit switch.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

    1. Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    2. Disengage the claw and 3 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:

      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      3. Disconnect the connector.

      4. Disengage the 2 clamps to separate the seat heater wire harness.

    4. Disengage the hook.

    5. Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 16 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    1. Remove the 34 tag pins and the front seat cushion heater assembly from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

    1. Remove the 5 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 3 hog rings.

    3. Remove the 2 hog rings.

    4. Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.

    5. Remove the 2 nuts and the 3 brackets.

    6. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    7. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    1. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:

      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the front seatback frame sub-assembly or separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

  19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

    1. Remove the 6 hog rings and separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    1. Remove the 12 tag pins and the front seatback heater assembly from the separate type front seatback cover.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  23. REMOVE UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

    1. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  24. REMOVE UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    1. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the front seat cushion edge protector RH.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the front seat cushion edge protector RH.

  29. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

  30. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the occupant detection ECU.

  31. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE

    1. Disconnect the connectors and disengage the wire harness clamps to remove the front seat wire.

  32. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE

    1. Disconnect the connectors and disengage the wire harness clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire.

  33. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disconnect the connectors and disengage the wire harness clamps to remove the front seat wire RH.

  34. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 4 bolts

    2. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback spring assembly.
