FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for TMMK Made Power Seat) DISASSEMBLY

  1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

    1. Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  2. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  3. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  4. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

    1. Disconnect the 2 rubber bands of the separate type front seatback cover.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat cushion shield.

    3. Disengage the wire harness clamp.

    4. Disconnect the front power seat switch connector.

    5. for Driver Side:

      1. Disengage 4 claws to remove the front lumbar power seat switch from the front seat cushion shield.

  6. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH

    1. Remove the 3 screws and front power seat switch from the front seat cushion shield.

  7. REMOVE FRONT LUMBAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (for Driver Side)

    1. Disconnect the connector to remove the front lumbar power seat switch.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

    1. Remove the 2 screws and front seat inner cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

    1. for TMMK Made:

      1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.

    2. for SIA Made:

      1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. for TMMK Made:

      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the screw and disconnect the limit switch.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

    2. for SIA Made:

      1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      2. Remove the screw and disconnect the limit switch.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

    1. Disconnect the connector (A).

    2. Disengage the clamp (B).

    3. Disengage the claw (D) and 3 clamps (C) to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:

      1. Disconnect the connector (E).

      2. Disengage the clamp (F).

    5. for Driver Side:

      1. Separate the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    6. for Front Passenger Side:

      1. Separate the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    7. Disengage the 4 hooks.

    8. Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Remove the 12 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    1. Remove the 20 tag pins and the front seat cushion heater assembly from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

    1. Disengage the hook.

    2. Disengage the 2 fasteners.

    3. Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.

    4. Disengage the 2 hooks.

      1. Remove the 4 clips.

      2. Slide each hook to disengage them.

    5. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    6. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    1. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:

      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the front seatback frame sub-assembly or separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

    1. Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. Disengage the 2 fasteners to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    1. Remove the 8 tag pins and the front seatback heater assembly from the separate type front seatback cover.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  22. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

  23. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the occupant detection ECU.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE

    1. Disconnect the connectors and disengage the wire harness clamps to remove the front seat wire.

  25. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE

    1. Disconnect the connectors and disengage the wire harness clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire.

  26. REMOVE FRONT UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER LH

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front upper seat track cover LH.

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front upper seat track cover RH.

  28. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER LH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear upper seat track cover LH.

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear upper seat track cover RH.

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and front seat cushion panel sub-assembly.

  31. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  32. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

    4. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

  33. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disengage the 4 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  34. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
