FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for TMMK Made Manual Seat) DISASSEMBLY

  1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

    1. Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.

  4. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

    1. Disconnect the 2 rubber bands of the separate type front seatback cover.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat cushion shield.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

    1. Remove the 2 screws and front seat inner cushion shield.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

    1. for TMMK Made:

      1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.

    2. for SIA Made:

      1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. for TMMK Made:

      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the screw and disconnect the limit switch.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

    2. for SIA Made:

      1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      2. Remove the screw and disconnect the limit switch.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

    1. Disengage the claw and 3 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    2. for Driver Side:

      1. Separate the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    3. for Front Passenger Side:

      1. Separate the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    4. Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Remove the 12 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

    1. Disengage the hook.

      A011QNQ

    2. Disengage the 2 fasteners.

    3. Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.

      A011VAC

    4. Disengage the 2 hooks.

      A011S20

      1. Remove the 4 clips.

      2. Slide each hook to disengage them.

    5. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    6. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    1. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:

      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the front seatback frame sub-assembly or separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

    1. Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. Disengage the 2 fasteners to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  18. REMOVE FRONT UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER LH

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front upper seat track cover LH.

  19. REMOVE FRONT UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER RH

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front upper seat track cover RH.

  20. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER LH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear upper seat track cover LH.

  21. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear upper seat track cover RH.

  22. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the occupant detection ECU.

  23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disconnect the connectors and disengage the wire harness clamps to remove the front seat wire RH.

  24. REMOVE RECLINING CONTROL LEVER

    1. Remove the bolt and reclining control lever.

  25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and front seat cushion panel sub-assembly.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  27. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

    1. Disengage the 4 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  28. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
