DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the roof antenna assembly which is connected to the navigation ECU sub-assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

After replacing the navigation ECU sub-assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, registration of the XM radio ID is necessary.

PROCEDURE

  1. REPLACE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Replace the antenna cord sub-assembly Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.
    NG
    OK
  2. INSPECT NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. Measure the resistance of the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly to check for an open circuit in the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      Standard Resistance
      Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the resistance between the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      Standard Resistance
      10 kΩ or higher
    NG
    OK
  3. REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    1. Replace the harness or connector.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.
    NG
    OK
  4. REPLACE ROOF ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

    1. Replace the roof antenna assembly Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.
    NG
    OK
