AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM (for Radio and Display Type without Intuitive Parking Assist System) CD cannot be Ejected

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

After replacing the radio and display receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, XM radio ID registration is necessary (w/ SDARS System).

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK OPERATION

    1. Press the disc eject switch of the radio and display receiver assembly for 5 seconds or more and check that the CD is ejected.

      OK
      CD is ejected.
    NG

    REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Click here

    OK

  2. REPLACE CD AND RECHECK

    1. Replace the CD with a known good one and check that the malfunction disappears.

      OK
      CD is ejected.
    NG
