    Note:

    Do not drop the height control sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.


    1. Connect 3 dry batteries of 1.5 V in series.

    2. Connect the positive (+) end of the batteries to terminal 1 (SHB) of the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH and the negative (-) end of the batteries to terminal 3 (SHG). While slowly moving the sensor link up and down, measure the voltage between terminal 2 (SHRL) and terminal 3 (SHG).

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2 (SHRL) - 3 (SHG) High (+) Approx. 4.5 V
      Normal Approx. 2.25 V
      Low (-) Approx. 0.5 V
      Note:

      • Do not apply a voltage of higher than 6 V.

      • Do not drop the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
