FRONT BUMPER (for Standard) REASSEMBLY

Tip:

When installing the front bumper protector, heat the front bumper surface using a heat light.

Note:

Do not heat the front bumper excessively.

    INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER PROTECTOR


    1. Clean the front bumper surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      Install a new front No. 2 bumper protector.


      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of 2 new front No. 2 bumper protectors.

        Tip:

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Install the 2 front No. 2 bumper protectors as shown in the illustration.

    INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD (w/ Garnish)


    1. Attach the 6 clips to install the front bumper guard.

    2. Install the 4 nuts.

    INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (w/ Bracket)


    1. Attach the 2 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 bolts.

  4. Click here

    INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. Attach the 16 claws to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

    2. Install the 4 retainers.

  5. Click here

    INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)


    1. Attach the 5 claws to the front bumper hole cover LH.

    2. Install the 2 screws and 2 retainers.

  6. Click here

    INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

    INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)


    1. Attach the 5 claws to the front bumper hole cover LH.

    2. Install the screw and 2 retainers.

    INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. Click here

    INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 2 guides and install the fog light assembly LH.

    3. Install the 2 screws.

    INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

    INSTALL FRONT BUMPER INNER BRACKET (w/ Fog Light)


    1. Attach the 3 claws and install the front bumper inner bracket.

    INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure to install the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer on the other side.

      Temporarily install the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer to the front bumper.

      Note:

      • Do not damage the bumper with the protrusion when installing the retainer.

      • Securely install the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer so that there are no gaps between the retainer and surface of the front bumper.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 2 ultra sonic sensor retainer.

    INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor on the other side.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the ultrasonic sensor.

      Note:

      Push the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the outside of the bumper when there is a gap between the retainer and the bumper surface. In this case, do not push on the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

    INSTALL ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the ultrasonic sensor clip.

      Note:

      Hold the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor in place so that the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer does not come out when installing the ultrasonic sensor clip.

    INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE


    1. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:

      Install the No. 4 engine room wire.


      1. Attach the 11 clamps to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

      2. Connect the 2 connectors.

    2. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:

      Install the No. 4 engine room wire.


      1. Attach the 12 clamps to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

      2. Connect the 4 connectors.

    3. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Fog Light:

      Install the No. 4 engine room wire.


      1. Attach the 12 clamps to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

      2. Connect the 2 connectors.

    INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Attach the 2 claws.

    2. Install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH with the bolt.

      1.1 N*m 11 kgf*cm 10 in.*lbf

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the type 1 headlight washer nozzle sub-assembly LH.

    1. Attach the 4 clamps and install the headlight cleaner hose.

    2. Connect the headlight cleaner hose.
