  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH INTELLIGENT TESTER (REFERENCE)

    Note:

    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Utility / Customize.

    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Table 1. Security:
      Display Default Contents Setting
      Warning by Horn*1 ON Function that allows vehicle horns and security horn to be used as warning device. ON/OFF
      Warning by Glass Broken Sensor*2 ON Function that turns the glass breakage sensor on/off. ON/OFF
      Tip:

      • *1: w/ Security Horn

      • *2: w/ Glass Breakage Sensor
