BACK DOOR LOCK (for Double Swing Out Type) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the back door lock assembly.

    2. A01593L

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, install the back door lock assembly with the 4 screws.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the 2 connectors.

      Connect the back door lock cable assembly to the back door remote control assembly.

    5. Connect the back door lock locking link to the back door lock control assembly and rotate the snap as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH


    1. Apply new butyl tape to the back door panel.

      Pass the 2 links and wire harness through a new back door service hole cover, and then install the back door service hole cover using the reference points on the back door panel.

    3. Attach the 3 clamps and connect the 2 connectors.

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Connect the 2 links to the back door inside handle.

      Attach the guide in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install the back door inside handle.

    3. Install the screw.

  4. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP REINFORCEMENT LH


    1. Install the rear assist grip reinforcement with the 3 bolts.

  5. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the 10 clips to install the back door trim panel.

  6. INSTALL DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL LH


    1. A015CRG

      Attach the guide in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and then attach the 2 claws to install the door inside handle bezel.

    2. Install the screw.

    3. Attach the claw to close the cover.

  7. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP LH


    1. Install the assist grip with the 2 bolts.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to close the 2 covers.
