DESCRIPTION

The radio receiver assembly sends sounds signal to the stereo component amplifier assembly through this circuit.

The sound signal that has been sent is amplified by the stereo component amplifier assembly, and then is sent to the speakers.

If there is an open or short in the circuit, sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the stereo component amplifier assembly or speakers.

  1. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY- STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the F1 radio receiver assembly and F18 stereo component amplifier assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F1-9 (L+) - F18-3 (L+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F1-19 (L-) - F18-2 (L-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F1-8 (R+) - F18-5 (R+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F1-18 (R-) - F18-4 (R-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F1-9 (L+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F1-19 (L-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F1-8 (R+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F1-18 (R-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F1-10 (SLD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
