REAR BRAKE DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG CAP

  2. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG

  3. REMOVE CYLINDER BOOT


    1. A015DBT

      Using a screwdriver, remove the cylinder boot from the cylinder.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  4. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE PISTON


    1. A0156YK

      Place a piece of cloth or a similar object between the piston and cylinder.

    2. Use compressed air to remove the piston from the cylinder.

      CAUTION:

      Do not place your fingers in front of the piston when using compressed air.

  5. REMOVE PISTON SEAL


    1. A015ALV

      Using a screwdriver, remove the piston seal from the cylinder.

      Note

      Do not damage the inner cylinder and cylinder groove.

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
