Either condition is met:


  1. With the vehicle stationary, the yaw rate sensor assembly output value is not 0°/s.

  2. An abnormal comparison value.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note:

After replacing the yaw rate sensor assembly, perform calibration (Click here).

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTCs (Click here).

  2. Click here

    READ VALUE USING GTS (YAW RATE SENSOR)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Data List.

      Vehicle stationary: 0°/s

    6. Check that the yaw rate sensor assembly output value is displayed on the GTS.

  3. Click here

    CHECK YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Check that the yaw rate sensor assembly is installed properly (Click here).

      OK
      The sensor is tightened to the specified torque.
      The sensor is not installed at an angle.

  4. Click here

    REPLACE YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLYClick here
