OIL LEVEL SENSOR INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR


    1. A015DTBE02

      Partially immerse the engine oil level sensor in an oil bath and warm up the oil bath.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 ON, 20°C (68°F) Below 1 Ω
      OFF, 20°C (68°F)
      ON, 60°C (140°F)
      OFF, 60°C (140°F) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the engine oil level sensor.
