FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER REMOVAL

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

    REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

    REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Protective Tape

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

      Tip:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

    REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH


    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disconnect the 2 rubber bands.

    3. A01597V

      Remove the 3 screws.

    4. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat cushion shield LH together with the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.

    5. for Driver Side:

      Disconnect the connector.

    REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps.

      Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

  6. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH


    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and clip, and then remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH.

    REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH


    1. w/ Seat Position Memory System:

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. w/o Seat Position Memory System:

      Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 3 screws and front power seat switch LH.

    REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A015DQN

        Disconnect the connector and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

      2. A015CS8

        Disconnect the connector and detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A015CAP

        Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the 4 wire harness clamps.

      2. A015B5P

        Detach the wire harness clamp.

    4. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A0157NX

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the 2 clamps and remove the connector holder.

    5. A015ADQ

      Bend the 2 seat frame claws upward.

    6. Detach the hooks and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

    REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the hog rings and front separate type seat cushion cover from the front separate type seat cushion pad.

    REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH

      w/o Climate Control Seat System:

      Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH from the front separate type seat cushion cover.

      w/ Climate Control Seat System:

      Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH from the front separate type seat cushion cover.
