REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type) INSTALLATION

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION HOLDER BRACKET

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to install the rear seat cushion holder bracket on the other side.


    1. Install the rear seat cushion holder bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to install the rear seat cushion lock striker sub-assembly on the other side.


    1. Install the rear seat cushion lock striker with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Return the rear floor silencer to its original position.

      Return the front floor carpet to its original position and attach the fastener.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT NO. 2 PROTECTOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to install the rear seat No. 2 protector on the other side.


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the rear seat No. 2 protector to the rear seat cushion lock striker sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    1. Attach the 3 claws and 4 clips to install the scuff plate.

    2. Install the screw.

  5. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL REAR STEP COVER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to install the step cover on the other side.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the step cover.

  7. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear No. 1 seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Temporarily install the rear No. 1 seat assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    4. Return the rear No. 1 seat assembly to its original position.

    5. A015DRFE01

      Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT NO. 2 CUSHION HINGE COVER


    1. Operate the reclining remote control lever knob and fold down the rear No. 1 seat assembly.

    2. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear seat No. 2 cushion hinge cover.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT NO. 1 CUSHION HINGE COVER


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear seat No. 1 cushion hinge cover.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT NO. 4 CUSHION HINGE COVER


    1. Return the rear No. 1 seat assembly to its original position.

    2. Attach the 6 claws to install the rear seat No. 4 cushion hinge cover.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT NO. 3 CUSHION HINGE COVER


    1. Attach the 6 claws to install the rear seat No. 3 cushion hinge cover.
