    INSPECT POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / All Data / Power Steering Pressure.

    5. Start the engine.

    6. Operate the steering wheel while idling and read the value on the GTS.

      Standard
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Power steering not operating

      0 to 2000 kPa (0 to 20 kgf/cm2, 0 to 290 psi)
      Power steering operating Value changes from value displayed when power steering not operating

      If the result is not as specified, check for DTCs (Click here). If the power steering system inspection results are normal and a DTC is not output, replace the power steering oil pressure switch.
