LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR LH


    1. Clean the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.


      1. Remove any double-sided tape from the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Install a new luggage compartment door outside garnish protector LH.


      1. Remove the release paper from the luggage compartment door outside garnish protector LH.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

        Dimension Measurement
        A 1.0 mm (0.0394 in.)
        B 2.0 mm (0.0787 in.)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR


    1. Clean the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.


      1. Remove any double-sided tape from the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    2. Install a new luggage compartment door outside garnish protector.

  4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install 6 new gaskets to the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    2. Install 2 new clips to the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    3. Engage the 2 clips.

    4. Install the 2 nuts.

    5. Install the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH


    1. Install the luggage electrical key switch with the 2 nuts.

    2. Connect the connector.

  6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01G6NU

      Install the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }
    2. A01G9GB

      Engage the clamp.

    3. Connect the connector.
