FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01G7D9

      Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      61 N*m  { 622 kgf*cm, 45 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 6 clamps.

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER STAY LH


    1. A01G6ZM

      Engage the 3 claws.

    2. A01G5MN

      Engage the clip as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the front bumper stay LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER STAY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER MOULDING

      Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01G533

      Engage the 12 claws.

    3. A01G7RM

      Install the front bumper moulding with the 6 screws.

  6. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01G4M6

      Engage the 12 claws to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  7. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01G5MX

      Engage the 4 guides and 14 claws to install the radiator grille.

    2. A01G75X

      Install the radiator grille with the 4 screws and 2 clips.

  8. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM


    1. A01G72K

      Engage the claw and guide.

    2. Install the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem with 2 new spring nuts.

  9. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL


    1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      *1 Double-sided Tape

      Remove the release paper and engage the 4 clips to install a new radiator grille seal.

  10. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH

      Engage the 3 claws to install the fog light cover LH.

  11. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Install the fog light mounting bracket LH with the 3 screws.

  13. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the 2 guides to temporarily install the fog light assembly.

    2. Install the fog light assembly with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      1.6 N*m  { 16 kgf*cm, 14 in.*lbf }

  15. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 9 clamps to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

  17. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  18. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

    for Front Sensor: Click here

  19. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Connect the connector.

  20. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Engage the 8 clamps to install the headlight cleaner hose.

  21. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Engage the guide.

    2. While pushing the tab shown by arrow <A>, engage the claw as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01G8GW

      Push up the headlight cleaner actuator clamp as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01G6KA

      Install the headlight cleaner clamp.

    5. Connect the headlight cleaner hose.

  22. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the front bumper hole cover.

  26. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Engage the claw and install the front fender liner retainer.

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  27. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. Type A:

        Engage the 4 claws.

      2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

    2. Type B:


      1. A01G5V4

        Engage the 4 claws.

      2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.
