FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. Type A:

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

    2. Type B:


      1. A01G5V4

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Disengage the claw and remove the front fender liner retainer.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the hook and remove the front bumper hole cover.

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Extend the headlight cleaner washer nozzle cover.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight cleaner washer nozzle cover.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Push the tabs shown by arrows <A> and <B> and disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.

    2. A01G8UF

      Remove the headlight cleaner clamp as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01G5R9

      Pull down the headlight cleaner actuator clamp as shown in the illustration.

    4. While pushing the tab shown by arrow <A>, disengage the claw and guide to remove the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Disengage the 8 clamps and remove the headlight cleaner hose.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disconnect the connector.

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  12. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disengage the 9 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

  13. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guide and remove the fog light assembly.

  14. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Remove the 3 screws and fog light mounting bracket LH.

  16. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

  17. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the fog light cover LH.

  18. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH

  19. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

      Disengage the 4 clips and remove the radiator grille seal.

  20. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM

      Remove the 2 spring nuts.

    2. Disengage the guide and claw and remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

  21. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 clips and 4 screws.

    2. A01G5MX

      Disengage the 14 claws and 4 guides and remove the radiator grille.

  22. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

      Disengage the 12 claws and remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  23. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOULDING


    1. A01G7RM

      Remove the 6 screws.

    2. A01G533

      Disengage the 12 claws.

    3. A01G93SE01

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front bumper moulding as shown in the illustration.

  24. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY LH


    1. A01G5GH

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Using a screw driver, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01G6ZM

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front bumper stay LH.

  25. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  26. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  27. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 6 clamps.

    2. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.
