RAIN SENSOR REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA COVER NO.1 (w/ Lane Departure Alert System)

      Pull the lane departure warning camera cover in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 4 guides and remove the lane departure warning camera cover as shown in the illustration.

  2. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR COVER (w/o Lane Departure Alert System)

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rain sensor cover as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR

      Disconnect the connector.

      *1 Stopper

      Release the stopper by pulling the stopper down and disconnect the rain sensor as shown in the illustration.

  4. CLEAN WINDSHIELD GLASS

    Tech Tips


    • The rain sensor tape is reusable. Only replace the tape if it is damaged or contaminated.

    • Check that there is no rain sensor tape residue remaining on the windshield glass. If there is, remove the residue before installing the rain sensor.
