SLIDING ROOF HOUSING (for Glass Roof) REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the No. 1 sunshade trim sub-assembly to the No. 2 sunshade trim sub-assembly.

      *2 No. 2 Sunshade Trim Sub-assembly

      Slide and install the No. 1 sunshade trim sub-assembly with No. 2 sunshade trim sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Insert the 2 sliding roof drive cables as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 2 claws and 6 guides.

    5. Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the sliding roof cable guide casing with the 6 screws.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      *2 Sliding Roof Rear Shoe Link Sub-assembly

      Using a screwdriver, slide the sliding roof rear shoe link sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to fully closed position.

      Tech Tips


      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      • Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

      Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 2 No. 1 sliding roof sunshade stoppers with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

  2. INSTALL NO. 4 SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Slide and install the No. 4 sunshade trim sub-assembly with No. 3 sunshade trim sub-assembly.

      Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 2 No. 1 sliding roof sunshade stoppers with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

  3. ADJUST FULLY CLOSED POSITION

      Using a screwdriver, slide the sliding roof shoe sub-assembly in either direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration and alignment marks.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  4. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Install the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
