DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction in the VSC system is detected. This circuit consists of the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) and seat belt control ECU. Signals are sent from the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) using CAN communication.

Tech Tips

This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      CAN communication system DTCs are not output.

    NG

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (VSC SYSTEM)


    1. Check for VSC system DTCs Click here.

      OK
      VSC system DTCs are not output.

    NG

    GO TO VSC SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    6. Drive the vehicle.

    7. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC B2060 is not output.

    NG

    REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU Click here
