DESCRIPTION
The seat belt control ECU receives information from the driving support ECU assembly using CAN communication and tightens the seat belt by operating the motor in the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
CAUTION:
The pretensioner is built into the front seat outer belt assembly LH. Be sure to follow the correct inspection procedure, as failure to follow the correct procedure (such as inspection of incorrect connectors) may deploy the pretensioner.
PROCEDURE
INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

Disconnect the P21 front seat outer belt assembly LH connector.
Tech Tips
Do not remove the front seat outer belt assembly LH.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Disconnect the H77 seat belt control ECU connector.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
