Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
INSTALL REAR AIRBAG SENSOR
Check that the engine switch is off.
Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
Before connecting the connector, check that the position of the white housing lock is correct as shown in the illustration.

Insert the pin (stopper) into the body hole and install the rear airbag sensor to the vehicle body with the bolt.
Note
If the rear airbag sensor has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace it with a new one.
When installing the rear airbag sensor, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with or is not pinched between other parts.
Make sure that the pin (stopper) is securely inserted into the body hole.
Tighten the bolt while holding the rear airbag sensor because the rear airbag sensor pin (stopper) is easily damaged.
Connect the connector to the rear airbag sensor.
Note
When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
Be sure to engage the connectors until they are locked (when locking, make sure that a click sound can be heard).

Tech Tips
When engaged, the white housing lock will slide. Be sure not to hold the white housing lock and part (A), as it may result in an insecure fit.
Check that there is no looseness in the installed parts of the rear airbag sensor.
INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH
Engage the 5 claws to install the rear seat side garnish LH.
INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE
Engage the 8 claws to install the rear door scuff plate LH.
INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
Place the rear seatback assembly in the cabin.
Note
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
Engage the 3 hooks.
Connect the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly LH, rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly RH and rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH to the rear seatback assembly.
Install the rear seatback assembly with the 4 bolts.
Engage the 2 clamps to connect the 2 rear seat airbag assembly wire harnesses.
Connect the 2 rear seat airbag assembly connectors.
Engage the claw to connect the rear center seat shoulder belt guide.
Engage the claw to connect the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH.
Engage the claw to connect the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH.
INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.
Note
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
w/ Climate Control Seat System:
Connect the rear seat heater connector.
Pass the buckle of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH and buckle of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH through the rear seat cushion assembly.

Engage the 2 hooks <B> on rear side of the rear seat cushion assembly to the rear seatback hinge hook.
Engage the 2 hooks <A> on the front side of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.
Note
When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
