FRONT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE


    1. A01G8TA

      Disengage the 10 claws and remove the front door scuff plate LH.

  2. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE


    1. A01G5TH

      Disengage the 8 claws and remove the rear door scuff plate LH.

  3. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH


    1. A01G8HO

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides.

    2. Disengage the 5 clips and remove the center pillar lower garnish LH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01G97U

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and front door courtesy light switch assembly.
