INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (FUEL METER OPERATION)

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

    5. Check the operation by referring to the table below.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS (FUEL INPUT)

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.

    5. Check the values by referring to the table below.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - FUEL SUCTION TUBE WITH PUMP AND GAUGE ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the H14 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the P7 fuel suction tube with pump and gauge assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H14-26 (FR) - P7-2 (FS) Always Below 1 Ω
H14-26 (FR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H14-27 (FE) - P7-3 (FE) Always Below 1 Ω
H14-27 (FE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
