FOOTWELL LIGHT (for Front Side) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the 10 claws and remove the front door scuff plate LH.

  2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the claw and clip, and remove the cowl side trim board LH.

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the 3 claws.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the front door opening trim cover LH.

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (for Driver Side)

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and 4 clips as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01G64E

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the instrument side panel LH as shown in the illustration.

  5. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides to disconnect the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for Driver Side)


    1. for LHD:

        Remove the 2 bolts <B>.

      2. A01G4U5

        Disengage the 12 claws, 2 clips and guide.

      3. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the lower No. 1 instrument panel finish panel.

    2. for RHD:

        Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and open the cover.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

        Remove the 2 bolts <B>.

        Disengage the 6 claws, 3 clips and guide.

      4. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the lower No. 1 instrument panel finish panel.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)


    1. A01G8C8

      Turn the No. 1 interior illumination light assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.

  8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the 4 clips and 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect the connector to remove the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 interior illumination light assembly RH.
