ROOM LIGHT INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the rear personal lights.

        Component without harness connected

        (Spot Light Assembly)

        Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 (B) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 3 (GND1).

      2. Check that the rear personal lights come on as shown in the table below.

        Rear personal light switch LH off Rear personal light LH does not come on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or spot light assembly.

    2. Inspect the rear interior light.


      1. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 (B) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (CTY).

      2. Check that the rear interior light comes on.

        OK
        Rear interior light comes on.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or spot light assembly.

    3. Inspect the rear personal light switch illumination.


      1. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 (ILLB) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 3 (GND1).

      2. Check that the personal light switch illumination comes on.

        OK
        Personal light switch illumination comes on.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.
