INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK LOCK FUNCTION OF GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH


    1. Check the lock function with the generator pulley with clutch installed in the vehicle.


      1. Visually check that the rotor in the generator assembly operates with the engine running.

    2. Check the lock function with the generator pulley with clutch removed from the vehicle.


      1. Remove the generator pulley cap.

        Hold the center of the generator pulley with clutch, and confirm that the outer ring turns counterclockwise and does not turn clockwise Click here.

        The outer ring turns counterclockwise and does not turn clockwise.

    REPLACE GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH Click here

  2. CHECK LOCK OF GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH


    1. Start the engine and visually check the generator pulley with clutch for looseness.

      OK
      The generator pulley with clutch is not loose.

    TIGHTEN GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH TO THE SPECIFIED TORQUE

    OK
