NAVIGATION SYSTEM Microphone Circuit between Microphone and Navigation Receiver Assembly

DESCRIPTION

• The multi-media module receiver assembly and roof console box assembly (telephone microphone assembly) are connected to each other using the microphone connection detection signal lines.

• Using this circuit, the multi-media module receiver assembly sends power to the roof console box assembly (telephone microphone assembly), and the roof console box assembly (telephone microphone assembly) sends microphone signals to the multi-media module receiver assembly (w/o Telematics Transceiver).

• Using this circuit, the telematics transceiver sends power to the roof console box assembly (telephone microphone assembly), and the roof console box assembly (telephone microphone assembly) sends microphone signals to the multi-media module receiver assembly via the telematics transceiver (w/ Telematics Transceiver).

    4. Turn the engine switch on (ACC).

    5. Connect an oscilloscope to terminals 3 (MCO+) and 2 (MCO-) of the T11 roof console box assembly (telephone microphone assembly) connector.

    6. Check the waveform of the telephone microphone assembly using the oscilloscope.
