VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1442, C1443

DTC Code DTC Name
C1442 Invalid Data Received from Acceleration Sensor
C1443 Invalid Data Received from Yaw Rate Sensor

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via the CAN communication system.

The airbag sensor assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1442 With terminal IG1 voltage between 9.5 and 17.4 V, an invalid data signal is received from the acceleration sensor for 10 seconds or more. Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)
C1443 With terminal IG1 voltage between 9.5 and 17.4 V, an invalid data signal is received from the yaw rate sensor for 10 seconds or more. Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), perform zero point calibration Click here.
