COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect ECO mode switch

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        4 (ECU) - 5 (E) ECO mode switch turned and held at ECO position Below 10 Ω
        ECO mode switch not turned 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

    2. Inspect NORMAL mode switch

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        2 (B) - 5 (E) NORMAL mode switch pushed and held Below 10 Ω
        NORMAL mode switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

    3. Inspect SPORT mode switch

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 (P) - 5 (E) SPORT mode switch turned and held at SPORT position Below 10 Ω
        SPORT mode switch not turned 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

    4. Inspect VSC off switch

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        7 (+) - 5 (E) VSC off switch pushed and held Below 10 Ω
        VSC off switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

    5. Inspect illumination

        *b Integration Control and Panel Assembly Illumination

        Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the integration control and panel assembly switch, and check the illumination condition of the integration control and panel assembly.

        Measurement Condition Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → 8 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → 6 (ILL-) Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.
