SHIFT LEVER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

      Disengage the 5 claws and remove the lower position indicator housing from the shift lever assembly.

  2. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON (Lower Shift Lever Assembly Side)

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the shift lock release button and shift lock release spring from the shift lever assembly.

  3. REMOVE SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR

      Remove the 4 screws and shift position indicator from the rear console upper panel sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the shift lock release button cover from the position indicator plate.

  5. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON (Shift Position Indicator Side)

      Disengage the claw and remove the position indicator plate from the upper position indicator housing.

    2. A01G9GF

      Disengage the claw and remove the shift lock release button and shift lock release spring from the upper position indicator housing.

  6. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 2 bulb sockets, 4 guides and clamp, and remove the indicator light wire sub-assembly from the upper position indicator housing.

    2. Remove the 2 bulbs from the indicator light wire sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 caps from the 2 bulbs.

  7. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

      Remove the position indicator slide cover from the upper position indicator housing.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

      Remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

  9. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LENS

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the position indicator lens from the upper position indicator housing.
