DESCRIPTION
When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). When the country specification information in the lane departure warning camera and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) do not match, DTC C1AA1 is stored.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note
Recognition code registration is necessary when replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to Service Bulletin.

CLEAR DTCs
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.
Clear DTCs.
Turn the engine switch off.

CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT)
Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
Drive the vehicle at a speed between 50 km/h (32 mph) and 220 km/h (138 mph), and operate the lane departure alert system.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.
Check for DTCs.
