C1AA7 Skid Control Buzzer Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The lane departure warning camera sends a buzzer request signal to the skid control ECU to sound the skid control buzzer assembly. When the skid control ECU detects a malfunction in the skid control buzzer circuit, a malfunction signal is sent to the lane departure warning camera and the lane departure warning camera stores DTC C1AA7.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the lane departure warning camera beam axis must be performed Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (DSS SIGNAL BUZZER)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Active Test.

    5. According to the display on the GTS, perform the Active Test.

      Skid control buzzer sounds.

    6. Turn the engine switch off.

    GO TO SKID CONTROL BUZZER CIRCUIT Click here

  2. REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

  3. CLEAR DTCs


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.

    4. Clear DTCs.

    5. Turn the engine switch off.

  4. CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.

    4. Check for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC C1AA7 is not output.

    5. Turn the engine switch off.
