DESCRIPTION
The lane departure warning camera receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU via CAN communication to control the lane departure alert system. When the lane departure warning camera receives information that there is a malfunction in the vehicle speed sensor, DTC C1AA3 is stored.

PROCEDURE
CHECK FOR DTCs (ABS/VSC/TRAC)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.
Check if DTCs are output.

CLEAR DTCs
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.
Clear DTCs.
Turn the engine switch off.

CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT)
Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
Drive the vehicle at a speed between 50 km/h (32 mph) and 220 km/h (138 mph) and operate the lane departure alert system.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.
Check for DTCs.
