DESCRIPTION

The lane departure warning camera receives the vehicle speed tolerance signal from the combination meter assembly via CAN communication to control the lane departure alert system. When the lane departure warning camera receives an abnormal signal, DTC C1AA2 is stored.

C1AA2 While the engine switch is on (IG), a signal indicating a malfunction is received from the combination meter assembly for 50 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the lane departure warning camera beam axis must be performed Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (COMBINATION METER)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Trouble Codes.

    4. Check if DTCs are output.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      Meter / gauge system DTCs are not output. A
      Meter / gauge system DTCs are output. B

    5. Turn the engine switch off.

    GO TO DTC CHART (METER / GAUGE SYSTEM) Click here

  2. CLEAR DTCs


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.

    4. Clear DTCs.

    5. Turn the engine switch off.

  3. CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.

    4. Check for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC C1AA2 is not output.

    5. Turn the engine switch off.
