  1. CONDITIONS FOR MOMENTARY STOP

      When control is stopped momentarily, "LDA not available" is displayed in the combination meter assembly, the lane departure alert indicator turns off and a "pong" sound is heard. This occurs under the following condition:


      • A high lane departure warning camera temperature is detected.

    Tech Tips

    If the system recovers and the conditions to stop lane departure alert control are not met, the lane departure alert system is reactivated.

  2. STOP DUE TO SYSTEM MALFUNCTION

      When a system malfunction is detected, the lane departure alert indicator turns off, "Check LDA System" is displayed in the combination meter assembly and a "pong" sound is heard.

      Tech Tips

      After the vehicle is stopped and then the engine is restarted, the lane departure alert system operates again if the system is confirmed to be normal when the lane departure alert main switch is turned on while the vehicle is traveling within the system operating speed.
