DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are output when a communication malfunction occurs between the sensors and ECUs.

U0101 While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h (1 mph) or more, a communication between the ECM and lane departure warning camera stops for 5 seconds or more.

U0123 While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h (1 mph) or more, a communication between the yaw rate and acceleration sensor and lane departure warning camera stops for 5 seconds or more.

U0129 While the engine switch is on (IG), a communication between the skid control ECU and lane departure warning camera stops for 5 seconds or more.

U0142 While the engine switch is on (IG), a communication between the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and lane departure warning camera stops for 5 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (CAN BUS CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / Can Bus Check.

      All of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed. A
      None of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed, or some of them are not displayed. B

    4. Turn the engine switch off.

  2. CLEAR DTCs


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.

    4. Clear DTCs.

    5. Turn the engine switch off.

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / Can Bus Check.

    4. Select "Communication Malfunction DTC" from the "CAN Bus Check" screen, and then select "Enter".

      OK
      CAN communication system is normal.

    5. Turn the engine switch off.
