DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:P1615

DTC Code DTC Name
P1615 Communication Error from Distance Control ECU to ECM

DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU assembly and ECM always communicate the data for vehicle general control and diagnosis function to each other through a communication line.

The driving support ECU assembly determines the distance, relative speed, and target deceleration speed based on the signal from the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly, and it transmits a control demand signal to the ECM.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
P1615 While the dynamic radar cruise control is either preparing for operation or operating, if communication data from the driving support ECU assembly is logically inconsistent for a certain amount of time, the ECM stores this DTC.
