DESCRIPTION
The driving support ECU assembly and ECM always communicate the data for vehicle general control and diagnosis function to each other through a communication line.
The driving support ECU assembly determines the distance, relative speed, and target deceleration speed based on the signal from the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly, and it transmits a control demand signal to the ECM.

CHECK FOR DTCs (DTC P1615)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.
Turn the dynamic radar cruise control system on using the cruise control switch (ON-OFF button).
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Trouble Codes.
